Average patient capacity increases by 100% in 6 months, with over 90% patient satisfaction. It enhances the job-satisfaction and wellbeing of healthcare workers. 

The Ministry of Health must prioritize the process for the widescale spread of Specialists Team Care. It needs to be made available to patients and healthcare workers across BC as soon as possible. 

We in British Columbia deserve the reassurance that when we or someone we know is ill, we will receive timely care from a family doctor or specialist. Lengthy hours in emergency rooms or extended periods on waitlists don't just fail to help, they actively harm.

By distributing clinical workload among specialized team members, the TEO model significantly streamlines healthcare processes. This efficiency not only reduces the time patients spend waiting for care but also increases the capacity of the healthcare system to treat a larger number of patients effectively and promptly. 

The Ministry of Health must prioritize the process for the widescale spread of Team Empowered Outcomes. It needs to be made available to patients and healthcare workers across BC as soon as possible. Training a handful of physician teams per year will not make a significant impact given the severity of our healthcare crisis. 

Patients in British Columbia deserve the reassurance that when they are ill, they will receive timely care from a family doctor or specialist. Lengthy hours in emergency rooms or extended periods on waitlists don't just fail to help, they actively harm patients.
